We drove an hour in the rain on a Friday night at 5 to have their Friday night fish fry. The service was great. All 4 of us had cocktails and we split the bruschetta. The tomato salad on top of the fresh buffalo mozzarella was amazing. Two of us had the Lake Perch it also was amazing. It was light and of so tasty you don’t even need tartar sauce!! Two had the Captain trio, cod, lake perch and coconut shrimp. We then had two desserts. Everything was so delicious. We were so happy that we came the distance. Parking is kind of challenging. Definitely watch out for the train as you walk from the parking lot to the restaurant. For 4 of us with tip we spent $250. I have already recommended this place to everyone I’ve talked to.

Overall a pretty solid restaurant. I had, and can highly recommend, the pot roast, especially during some of the colder months. The portions for each dish seemed pretty large, as my party all felt full afterwards. My favorite part was actually the building that the establishment was in. It had a really cool wine cellar vibe. It was very unique.

We could not have asked for a more perfect venue for our wedding! From start to finish, the team was professional, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our day unforgettable. The space was absolutely beautiful—our guests were blown away by the atmosphere, décor, and attention to detail. Everything flowed seamlessly, from the ceremony to the reception, thanks to the staff’s organization and support. Dana was an amazing coordinator and her team delivered a 5 star performance. Thank you, all!

After attending a play, a group of nine of us headed to Public Landing for dinner—and what an incredible dining experience it was! First, the food was absolutely divine. Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The ingredients were fresh, and the flavor combinations were perfectly balanced. We each enjoyed something different, and not a single plate disappointed. We made sure to save room for dessert, and I’m so glad I did—my apple tart with gelato was the perfect sweet finish. Simply scrumptious! The ambiance was just as impressive. The cozy Italian brick decor gave the space a warm, inviting feel. Our group was seated at a spacious long table, which allowed us to relax and enjoy our meal comfortably. It was the ideal setting for a post-theater evening—both charming and comfortable. And finally, the service truly elevated the entire experience. Diane, our server, was outstanding. She was friendly, attentive, and incredibly organized. Although I forgot to request separate checks, Diane handled the situation with ease and professionalism. She quickly split the bill without any fuss, making what could have been a stressful moment completely stress-free. Public Landing delivered on every level—delicious food, welcoming ambiance, and top-notch service. Im already planning my next visit with friends.

A great restaurant in a historical building. It was a gorgeous day so we ate on the patio. Great service and fabulous food. The pot roast was sublime. Large portions. Be sure to walk through the museum and art gallery inside. Then take a stroll along the canal.
